CEBA recently received confirmation that the Department of Agriculture confirmed a Yellow Legged Hornet nest, at Oatland Island.
The Dept of Agriculture will be coming to our August 12th Meeting to provide us with an update and educational review of the YLH situation.
It will be very interesting to beekeepers to know and understand the challenges that are being faced to help eradicate this species. A close-up of the hornet clearly shows the yellow legs.
