May 14th Workshop will be with Master Craftsman & Georgia Bee Removal Owner, Mr Bill Owens. Mr Owens will be discussing selecting the right colony to breed; importance of nurse bees; and various simple methods of getting YOUR bees to raise queen cells.
We will be using brood frames for members to learn to identify 4-5 day old larvae and the importance for this age range.
Mr Owens will also be visiting us on a "make-up" Monday night meeting, May 16 to further teach/explain the details around queen rearing (not grafting methods).
