Coastal Empire Beekeepers Assn. members will show off honey bees in an observation hive during the Savannah Earth Day Festival. Stop by Oatland Island Wildlife Center's Kids Tent to see them and learn more about honey bees and beekeeping.
At 11 a.m., beekeeper Laura Liu will host a 20-minute talk about honey bees, native bees and all types of pollinators. Without them we would not have many of our favorite fruits, nuts and veggies. Learn how we can help them as responsible urbanites.
