NEW LOCATION: Coastal Empire Beekeepers meeting: What to plant to benefit bees and other pollinators

NEW LOCATION: Due to tornado damage, we will not be meeting at Oatland Island Wildlife Center. Thank you to Savannah Bee Co. for letting CEBA host this meeting at its Wilmington Island location (211 Johnny Mercer Blvd.)!

This month's guest speaker is Freya Zipperer, native Savannahian, Master Gardener, Master Naturalist, and retired educator. She will talk about what to plant to benefit bees and other pollinators in our area, with an emphasis on native plants.

This meeting is free and open to the public.

Coastal Empire Beekeepers Assn. hosts meetings on the second Monday of each month.

Social time: 6-6:30 p.m.

Meeting/guest speaker time: 6:30-7:45 p.m.

This meeting will be held in the conference room of the main building at Oatland Island Wildlife Center.

Annual membership dues: $25 for a single, $45 for a family.
