See bees in an observation hive at the OIWC Spring Celebration

In the Coastal Empire Beekeepers Assn. apiary, members will show off honey bees in an observation hive during Oatland Island Wildlife Center's Spring Celebration. They will also be there to answer your questions about honey bees and beekeeping!

The festival will include sheep shearing; wool carding, spinning and weaving; children’s crafts and games; and 1800’s lifestyle demonstrations. Oatland’s “Native Animal Nature Trail” will be open, and food concessions will be available.

Admission: Adults, $7; children, $5
