Beekeeper Todd Foster will talk about recommendations and methods for splitting hives and raising queens in your backyard.

Coastal Empire Beekeepers Assn. hosts meetings on the second Monday of each month. Each features a speaker (guest or local beekeeper). Topics will be announced as the details are finalized. Social time: 6-6:30 p.m. Meeting time: 6:30-8 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. Annual membership dues: $25 for a single, $45 for a family.
