Brutz English is a Senior Welsh Honey Judge and will be presenting an educational talk on preparing for a honey contest. He will giving us details on how the Welsh contest works and providing us recommendations in preparing our samples. Barbara Phillips, also a Welsh Honey Judge, is preparing CEBA for Fall Welsh Honey Contest.
Coastal Empire Beekeepers Assn. hosts meetings on the second Monday of each month. Each features a speaker (guest or local beekeeper). Topics will be announced as the details are finalized. Social time: 6-6:30 p.m. Meeting time: 6:30-8 p.m. The meeting is free and open to the public. Annual membership dues: $25 for a single, $45 for a family.
